- Permanent Makeup Policy (MUST READ BEFORE BOOKING)
Previously Had Permanent Makeup
If you currently have an existing permanent makeup, it is crucial to get in touch with us prior to scheduling your appointment. This step is essential because there are instances where you may require prior removal treatments or wait for the pigment to fade more. Therefore, an initial consultation, either through sending pictures or an in-person consultation, is necessary for us to assess your suitability. Without this consultation, we may not be able to proceed with the treatment at your scheduled appointment. In such cases, the deposit will be non-refundable.

Pre-Procedure Instructions
You must read and follow the pre-care instructions before your procedure. It is crucial to follow to ensure the optimal condition for the procedure, which leads to better pigment retention and a smoother healing process.
Day Before and Day of Procedure:
- Wash hair before appointment (No wetting brows after the procedure)
- Avoid excessive exercise
- Do not drink alcohol and caffeine
- Do not take Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil, or any blood thinning medication.
- Avoid wearing contact lenses on procedure day
- Please not that it may increase sensitivity during menstrual cycle
1-2 Weeks Before Procedure:
- No waxing or tinting 3 days prior
- No tweezing/waxing at least 48 hours before;
- No electrolysis at least five days before
- Botox should be performed no sooner than 2 weeks prior
- Microneedling should be done no sooner than 2 weeks prior
3-4 Weeks Before Procedure:
- Stop taking antibiotics 3 weeks before the procedure (Consult your doctor)
- No laser procedures or peels 4 weeks prior; skin needs to be fully healed.
- Avoid sunburn on your face 4 weeks prior; allow at least 4 weeks to heal.
Post-Procedure Instructions
Following these aftercare instructions is crucial for protecting the treated area from potential issues such as infection or pigment fading. It supports the healing process and ensures the long-lasting beauty and vibrancy of your permanent makeup.
- Gently Cleanse the Area: Use a mild, non-abrasive cleanser to gently clean the treated area. Pat dry with a clean towel or tissue. (Daily or as needed)
- Apply Aftercare Products: Apply a tiny amount of the aftercare ointment using a Q-tip or clean finger after cleansing. (Once or twice a day)
- Avoid Water Contact: Only wet them when cleansing. Do not splash or run water directly on the treated area while washing your face or in the shower for 2 weeks or until scabs are gone. Dry the area immediately if it gets wet.
- No Picking or Scratching: Allow any scabs, dry skin, or flakes to fall off naturally. Picking can lead to scarring, premature pigment loss, and potential infection.
- Avoid Exercise and Sweating: Refrain from vigorous exercise or activities that cause sweating, including workouts, for 2 weeks or until scabs are no longer present. This helps the healing process.
- Mind Your Sleeping Position: Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days. Ensure your pillowcase is clean.
- No Makeup Application: Do not apply makeup to the tattooed area until scabs have disappeared. Makeup can impede proper healing, potentially causing irritation and excessive scabbing.
- Avoid Eyebrow Tinting and Waxing: Refrain from any eyebrow tinting or waxing for 2 weeks or until fully scabbed.
- No Facials, Botox, Chemical Treatments, or Microdermabrasion: Avoid these treatments for 4 weeks after the procedure.
- Steer Clear of Exfoliants and Strong Skincare Products: Do not use exfoliants, retinol acids, or AHA’s on the treated area for 30 days after the treatment, as they can fade the tattoo prematurely. Apply skincare products at least a finger’s width away from the brows.
- Avoid Saunas, Pools, and Steam Rooms: Stay away from these environments during the healing process.
- Protect from Sun Exposure: Shield the treated area from direct sunlight for at least 4 weeks. Use sunscreen if sun exposure is unavoidable.
- Avoid Active Ingredients: Be cautious with products containing active ingredients like alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), and retinoids around the treated area.
- Attend Follow-Up Appointments: Attend any scheduled follow-up appointments to obtain the best final result.
Healing Process
Scabbing Period (Approximately 14 Days):
- Scabbing duration may vary, influenced by factors like age, immune system health, aftercare, stress, and diet.
- Some uneven color is normal for the first session. Note that perfect final result may require multiple sessions, so be patient. This is a two-step, and sometimes a multi-step process.
- Everyone heals differently. The final outcome depends on your aftercare, skin type, and lifestyle.
Day-by-Day Progress (Approximate):
- Days 1-3: Brows appear darker, up to 50-60% darker than the final result.
- Days 4-14: Expect scabbing, dryness, and flakiness. Do not pick scabs to avoid missing pigment. The color may temporarily appear lighter once fully scabbed, but it will gradually return.
- 4-8 Weeks: Return for the second session to achieve the optimal final result.
